Peace is important for practical purpose.Without peace,there can be no constructive activity at all
The ideology of 'tawhid'or oneness of God,is the central theme of Islam.He is self-existant;He has self created the Universe.He is alive;He is supreme and He is the sustainer of the world&He is all powerful controlling the lives of all living beings.In Islam
one must adopt a live that is God oriented.On this festival all go out and greet each other with'As-salamulaykum;means'May be peace upon you'.While concluding their prayers daily they also say'As-salamulaykumwarahamatulla-'may peace & blessings of God be upon you.'
As verse in the Quraan says:And God calls us to the home of peace.(10:25)
This means that according to divine scheme of things,it is necessary to establish a peaceful society.
Do we all follow it?Are we not being taken as the distruction of the God's will.Do we place peace anywhere near our mindless violence being done around?Should we slaughter animals & specially the Holy Hindu Cows,on this auspicious day?THINK>
