Every sane individual who believes in God,will agree that no religion can be spread by brutal force.People have to be convinced,lured or bribed to accept some thing which doesn't go down the throat easily.
Peace and progress is always the soul of any faith.None of the religious scriptures,including the most infamous now,Muslims,could have been able to spread and mention such a large & true followings across the world.
I have gone through scripts of Quran.Nowhere it preaches violence.Rather the name itself means peace and the pleasateries exchanged also stresses upon this.
